The Carp Connection Cup is a charity fundraising weekend fishing match, held in order to raise much needed funds for the East Anglian Children's Hospices, a charity that looks after children with life limiting illnesses and offers support for their families.

This year’s event is to be held over the weekend of Friday 24th - Sunday 26th July, at the Bridge Inn Pub Lake, Lenwade. Activities over the weekend include; a massive raffle with prizes from a large amount of the carp angling tackle and bait trade, Burger Bars and a beer festival by Wolf Brewery all weekend.

The large beer garden which slopes down to the five acre lake will host a big party on the night of Saturday 25th, with disco and two hours of live rock music and covers on the outdoor stage from local band The Floating Greyhounds.
